What does SASHA do?
We meet people where they are at, listen to where they want to go, and support them in getting there. We encourage individual growth at each person’s own pace through making their own choices about their own lives. Our goal is to help build the capacity that each person has to be healthy and independent, and to confidently live in our community.
OKI, SASHA is located on traditional lands of the Siksikaitsitapi, the Blackfoot Confederacy. SASHA is committed to honouring the Blackfoot people’s past, present and future while recognizing and respecting their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship to the land. We honour the Siksikaitsitapi as both the traditional and current Land Keepers of this area, and we welcome all First Nations, Métis, Inuit and non-Indigenous peoples who call Blackfoot territory their home.
